SENATOR Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV yesterday presented documents and videos to debunk Peter Joemel Advincula’s claim of a plan to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.
During a press conference, Trillanes bared Advicula’s alleged text messages to members of a religious group he supposedly approached for sanctuary last year.’
The senator also presented video footage showing “Bikoy” making allegations against certain people.
In another text message Advincula is asking for money for house rental and transportation cost.
The outgoing senator said that the text messages showed that the alleged “Bikoy” volunteered his information to a religious group and that there was no plot against the government.
“Wala kang makikitang ouster plot dyan. Wala kang makikitang sinusubuan sya ng script nang kung sino man,” he added.
Trillanes also insisted that the video proved that Advincula’s statements were not scripted.
Sya yun. Yung mga allegation nya nangaggaling sa kanya with feelings pa,” Trillanes said after showing the video.
The evidence against Advincula alias ‘Bikoy’ presented by opposition Senator Trillanes is welcome to the Philippine National Police.
According to PNP spokesman Colonel Bernard M. Banac, they welcome all additional evidence that will be presented in the course of the ongoing investigation into Advincula’s claim by the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
Banac aid the public must bear in mind that PNP-CIDG investigators are validating all pieces of evidence and claims made by Advincula in his sworn statement.
Hindi pa siya off the hook,” he said in referring to the man who confessed he was the real ‘Bikoy’ behind the series of anti-Duterte videos released before the May 13 national and local elections.
