GUNMEN paid the taxi fare of a woman before shooting her to death Thursday night in Quezon City.
The still unidentified victim was described as sporting long blonde hair, clad in green shirt with brand marking “ADIDAS”, and maong shorts, with “syned” tattoo on her left arm. She also had tattoes in other parts of her body.
A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District showed the victim hailed a tax along Batasan Road at around 6:30 p.m. on November 5, 2020.
The victim reportedly told the driver to bring her to Pacamara St. in Bgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City.
When the woman reached her destination, two men on board a motorcycle approached and asked the driver how much the fare was. One of the suspects left to get cash.
The victim alighted from the cab after the driver received the taxi fare.
The driver told the police that he was about to leave when he spotted one of the suspects pulling out a short firearm.
The same suspect fired two shots at the victim, hitting her head.
The driver said he was initially scared that the suspects might turn his ire on him. However, he decided to rush her to the Rosario Maclang Hospital to no avail.
A SOCO team recovered two heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu at the crime scene.
