THE leaderships of Joy Ride thanked the Technical Working Group of the Department Transportation (TWG-DOTr) for giving them an opportunity to be included in the agency’s pilot project.
Joy Ride also assured to provide safe services to the riding public.
At the same time, Noli Eala, Vice-President for Corporate Affairs of JoyRice, also apologized to Senator Bong Go over the fake news that the good senator is involved in the motorcycle taxi app. “Humihingi po kami ng pasensiya kay Sen. Go, dahil nadadawit ang kanyang pangalan dito, sinasabi po namin fake news yan, inuulit namin wala pong kinalaman si Sen. Go dito, Motorcycle Taxi Joy Ride,” said Eala in a press conference yesterday in Quezon City.
Eala also assured that Joy Ride is 100% Filipino owned and is supervised by reputable and responsible people as he assured the safety of its riders.
Eala added that JoyRide is compliant with the rules and regulations as well as the requirements required by the DOTr-TWG led by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
“Ang aming training track, kahit sino ay pwedeng bisitahin anumang oras para makita ng taong bayan at ng mga riders namin lahat ng riders namin ay dumaan at pumasa dito bago namin pinayagang bumiyahe,’ said Eala.
“By February 2020 we would completes and activated the 10,000 bikers to serve our clietnts, he added.
Joy Ride has activated 1,493 applications.
The other 5,414 are waiting to be activated within the next two weeks to complete the 10,000 bikers by February, Eala revealed.
Eala also emphasized JoyRide is seriously obeying the fare matrix allowed by the LTFRB.
“Tama po yung kung ano lang ang sinabi ng LTFRB yun lang walang surge o anumang dagdag sa pamasahe anumang oras o panahon,” said Eala.
