THE Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will issue special permits to all public utility buses would operate in preparation of the remembrance of All Saints Day´s under “Oplan Biyahen Ayos: Undas 2019”, the agency reported yesterday.
The SP will take effect from October 30 (Wednesday) until November 3, (Sunday) 2019.
“Ito yung bugso ng ating mga Kababayan pauwi ng kanikanilang probinsiya,” said the board.
The LTFRB-Technical Division said only buses less than 10-year old, with complete documents, such as Insurance, no pending accident cases, preperably as much as possible 100% roadworthy.
The board also warned (PUVs) operators and owners who go out off line may faced with fines ranging from P50,000 to P1 million in penalty.
Habitual offended may also faced with the suspension or revocation of their franchises.
In separate inteview Jessie Santos, national president of Public Commuters and Motorists Alliance (PCMA) urged the commuters not to patronage “Colorums” to avoid any problems and inconvenients.
“Sumunod po tayo sa mga tagubilin ng LTFRB, para makaiwas sa mga inconvenients,” said Santos.
