DEPUTY Speaker and Basilian Rep. Mujiv Hataman and his wife Mayor Dahlia have tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Hataman himself confirmed the news in his social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter).
Positive kami pareho,” Hataman said in his post.
The results of the test for their children and other individuals living in their house are not yet available.
The MIndanaoan solon said they are now undergoing quarantine and assured people of Basilan that heath protocols were enforced within their area to prevent the spread of the virus.
He expressed disappointment over the spread of the virus despite following the safety measures.
