INFORMATION and Communications Technology Secretary Eliseo Rio, Jr. commended the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) for the expeditious delivery of public services pursuant to Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.
By elevating public service to a notch higher, Secretary Rio said the personnel of the NTC have earned the public trust.
“A big congratulations to NTC, ably headed by Commissioner Gamaliel A. Cordova, for rending fast and efficient service to the public,” Secretary Rio said.
“Keep up the good work and more power!” he added.
The Secretary issued the statement after receiving a report from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) highlighting a positive feedback from netizen Sam Florentino, an NTC customer who reached out to the CSC’s Contact Center ng Bayan Facebook page.
In a message to the CSC, Florentino shared: “I would like to commend this agency (NTC) for their efficient service which I have personally experienced. Actually, this is the first time I am doing this for any government institution. Parang nasanay na ako sa magulong sistema ng mga government offices na napupuntahan ko. But this time, I need to commend these government people for a job well done.”
Florentino continued: “Very smooth transaction. Very orderly. Personnel were efficient and courteous. Sana lahat po ng government offices ay ganito.”
“For sure, there is leadership behind these. Allow me to congratulate these government personnel for their hard work and dedication to bring service to us. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat sa NTC,” Florentino added.
Secretary Rio thanked Florentino for the feedback and urged the public to continue giving feedback about government agencies, including negative experiences so these can be rectified and improved.
