PRICES of local petroleum products went up again as big and small oil companies implemented another round of increases effective today.
Major oil firms Petron Corporation, Pilipinas Shell and Chevron Philippines raised their prices of premium and unleaded gasoline by 75 centavos per liter, diesel by 80 centavos per liter and kerosene by 90 centavos per liter effective at 6 a.m. today.
PTT Philippines, Eastern Petroleum, Seaoil, Unioil and Petro Gazz also moved the pump prices of their gasoline and diesel by the same increment also at 6 a.m. today. Most of the independent oil firms are not selling kerosene.
Other oil firms have yet to announce their respective advisories as of press time but energy sources said they are most likely to adjust their prices.
Sources said the price increases of local petroleum products reflect movements in the international oil market.
