Over 3K to take Civil Service Commission tests tomorrow

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC)  advised examinees for tomorrow’s (Sunday) eligibility tests to view their school assignments listed in the examination advisory or conduct an ocular visit of their assigned venue at least a day before the schedule for them to make it on time.

A total of 3,456 individuals are set to take the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE), Pre-Employment Test, Promotional Test and Ethics-Oriented Personality Test (EOPT) in various locations nationwide.

The CSC said that takers should be familiarize on the school’s location, available means of transportation, route, and the travel time to avoid getting late.

Of the number, 3,222 will try their luck for BCLTE, 72 for the pre-employment test, 153 for the promotional test and nine for EOPT.

Gates of testing venues will be open to examinees starting 6 a.m. and shall close at exactly 7:30 a.m. and those who will arrive late shall not be admitted.

Examinees should bring an identification card (ID), preferably the same ID presented during filing of application. If the ID to be presented for admission is different from that presented during filing of application, the examinee must present any of the following accepted and valid ID: Driver’s License/Temporary Driver’s License (LTO Official Receipt (O.R.) must be presented together with old driver’s license).

The CSC however said that O.R. alone is not allowed.

Takers can also present student driver’s permit; passport; PRC License; SSS ID; GSIS ID (UMID); voter’s ID/voter’s certification; BIR/Taxpayer’s ID (ATM type/TIN card type with picture).

PhilHealth ID must have the bearer’s name, clear picture, signature, and PhilHealth number); company/office ID; school ID; police clearance/police clearance certificate (with picture); postal ID; barangay ID; NBI Clearance; seaman’s book; HDMF Transaction Card; PWD ID; solo parent ID; senior citizen’s ID; and CSC Eligibility Card.

As a last resort, an expired ID may be presented for admission, provided that the expiry date falls from January 1 to June 22, 2019.

The CSC will strictly implement the “No ID, No Examination” rule.
