Reject bribery, PNP tells voters

THE Philippine National Police, through its Directorate for Police-Community Relations,  launched a program which calls on Filipinos to reject all forms of bribery and  vote-buying in the coming May 13 polls.

PNP-DPCR director Major General Benigno B. Durana Jr. explained that the scheme is  a non-profit and non-partisan advocacy program dubbed  A.S.I.N. (Ang Suhol Iwaksi Natin) Movement and I.L.A.W (Itaguyod Legal At Wasto) Movement will promote their advocacy for a safe and secured election while calling for a good governance and the need for Filipinos to reject any form of bribery. 

PNP chief Director General Oscar D. Albayalde lauded the program as well as the DPCR’s “Pulis, Pulis Kung Umaksyon ay Mahusay at Mabilis” which aim at integrating all existing police services such as quality service lanes, feedback and reporting mechanisms, hotlines and social media platforms.

Albayalde and Durana led the launching of the program by signing a memorandum of agreement with the Holistic Mission Ministries Foundation Inc. and Affiliate Foundation of Hope of Glory Community Inc.
