DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has been reported thinking of leaving the party she herself formed.
With the May 13 midterm elections almost around the corner the leader of Hugpong ng Pagbabago has intimated her desire to leave the party she chairs.
It seems after leading the campaign for the party’s senatorial hopefuls the rigors of making sorties around the country is now taking their toll on the presidential daughter.
She said fatigue is wearing her down and she may no longer be up to the task of leading the Hugpong campaign caravan.
The mayor herself is a re-electionist but has had to leave Davao City to concentrate on pushing for the election of the Hugpong senatorial slate. The campaign culminates in the final and biggest rally in her homecity.
