Who’s against, who’s for Sotto? Lacson asks

Panfilo Lacson

SENATOR Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has filed a resolution that seeks to identify which senators still support the leadership of Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Lacson said that he already drafted a resolution that was originally proposed by Senator Manny Pacquiao to clearly see the vote of confidence for Sotto amid reports of an impending change of leadership in the Senate.

He advised the incoming senators who want a change in the leadership of the Senate to convince at least 13 senators to join them and vote for a replacement for Sotto.

Kung wala kayong 13, ganoon lang kasimple,” he said.

But he warned these incoming senators calling for a change of leadership that they are risking becoming the minority if they fail to muster enough numbers to be the majority.
