TEN stations of the Cagayan Police Provincial Office have been given the prestigious Gold Eagle Award for passing the Proficiency Stage of the ongoing Performance Governance System of the Philippine National Police, the Journal Group learned yesterday.
Police Regional Office 2 director, Brigadier General Jose Mario M. Espino personally handed the Gold Eagle Award to the commanders of the Abulug, Amulung, Camalaniugan, Enrile, Lal-lo, Peñablanca, Sanchez, Solana and Sta Teresita Municipal Police Stations and the Tuguegarao City Police Station during conferment ceremonies on Monday at the Cagayan PPO headquarters in Camp Tirso H. Gador, Tuguegarao City.
Espino also awarded the Silver Eagle Award to the commanders of the Alcala, Allacapan, Aparri, Baggao, Ballesteros, Buguey, Calayan, Claveria, Gattaran, Gonzaga, Iguig, Lasam, Piat, Rizal, Sta. Ana, Sta. Praxedes, Sto. Niño and Tuao Municipal Police Stations and the Cagayan Mobile Force Company.
The same award was given to the 202nd, 203rd and 204th Manuever Companies of the Regional Mobile Force Batallion 2.
Espino congratulated the awardees for a job well done as he emphasized that “the conferment of the proficiency stage is a clear indication that success is really not beyond our reach.”
