TWO farmer-brothers were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a wayward car along a highway in Dagohoy, Bohol on Monday afternoon, a Police Regional Office 6 report said yesterday.
Victims Edward Cañada ,41, and his younger brother Jess,26, both residents of Sitio Manga, Cagawasan, Dagohoy town were thrown off their motorbike after being struck by a Toyota Vios being driven by Cesar Barotil, a 59-year-old resident of Bgy. Sundol in Loon municipality along the highway in Sitio Curvada, Bgy. San Vicente in Dagohoy around 1:53 p.m. Monday, said a report to PRO7 director, Brig. Gen. Debold M. Sinas.
Sinas said a local police investigation showed the two victims died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries. The driver of the killer vehicle was also brought to the Congressman Simeon Toribio Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
He will be facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in double homicide and damage to property, the official said.
