CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Two alleged leaders of a crime group were arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Region 3 (CIDG3) on Saturday.
CIDG3 chief Senior Supt. Christopher Abrahano identified the suspects as Patricio Ramos, 45, of Purok 2, Bgy. Imbunia, Jaen, Nueva Ecija; and Gener Desederio Jr., 54, a tricycle driver residing in Bgy. Patag, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Seized from Ramos, who was involved in illegal sale of guns in District 4 of Nueva Ecija, were a loaded .40 pistol and 27 bullets, live ammunition.
Meanwhile, confiscated from Desederio, who was involved in robbery, gun-for-hire and carnapping activities in Sta. Maria and nearby Bulacan towns, were a .45 pistol with four magazines and 29 bullets.
They will be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
