2 drug peddlers held for gun, shabu in Batangas

TWO drug peddlers were arrested during a buy-bust in Bgy. San Rafael, Sto Tomas City, Batangas, Thursday evening.

Police Lt. Col. Rosell DM Encarnacion identified the suspects as Edilberto Torres, 43, married, and a resident of Bgy. San Vicente, and Juan Paulo Dimaano,36, of Bgy. Majada Out, Calamba City, Laguna.

The operation was conducted by the Sto Tomas PS Drug Enforcement team led by police deputy Major Allan Nidua at 10:50 p.m.

Seized from the suspects were plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of six grams and P1,000 buy-bust money.

Police also recovered from Torres a Toyota Vios with plate No. DDL7552, an Armscor cal. .45 pistol with serial no. 1044348 with one magazine loaded with eight pieces of live ammunition and a gun holster.
