POLICE Regional Office 12 director, Brigadier General Alfred S. Corpus yesterday announced the arrest of two ‘high-value drug targets’ in Central Mindanao after they conspire to sell some P224,000 worth of shabu to an undercover officer in Koronadal City on Tuesday.
Corpus identified the two as Samrudin Kampang alias ‘Mokong,’ a 25-year old resident of Purok Pagkakaisa in Barangay Caloocan, Koronadal City and Cesar Sacramento Jr. alias ‘Jun-Jun,’24, of Purok Kaunlaran in nearby Bgy. Sto. Niño.
The official said that members of the Koronadal City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the duo in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Pinagbuklod at around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Recovered from the possession of the two were eight heat-sealed plastic sachets containing some 34 kilos of the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine’ with a local market value of P224,000 and the boodle money topped by a marked P500 bill.
