TWO more cocaine bricks were found floating in the waters off Dinagat Island.
Caraga police director Brig. Gen. Gilbert DC Cruz said local resident Felix Miasco spotted the drugs floating in the waters of Bgy. Quezon in Libjo, Dinagat Island past 7 p.m. last Sunday.
The villager immediately retrieved the drugs and turned them over to barangay captain Jack Limera, who in turn sought the help of the Libjo Municipal Police Station.
Libjo policemen took custody of the narcotics, the latest to be recovered in Caraga region.
On Wednesday last week, local fishermen in Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte turned over to barangay and police authorities nine cocaine bricks valued at nearly P52 million.
Eight of the cocaine bricks were found floating near the lighthouse in Sitio Dahican in Bgy. Helen, Gibosong Islands in Loreto, Dinagat Islands.
