2 murder suspects captured in Lipa

LIPA CITY, Batangas — Two suspected murder suspects were nabbed in separate police operations in Barangays San Benito and Antipolo Del Norte here on Tuesday.

Lipa City Police station commander Lt. Col Antonio G. Rotol, Jr. identified the arrested felons as Teodulo Babadilla alias Teody and Joshua Bautista alias Tsupot.

Rotol said that at around 1:30 p.m. on November 10, Babadilla, charged with murder, and tagged as the most wanted person at the provincial level was arrested by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Batangas Provincial Police Office, Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU) 4A, Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 4A, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and the Lipa CPS in Bgy. San Benito.

Bautista, listed as No. 3 in the city level was nabbed by police on the strength of an arrest warrant for murder in Bgy. Antipolo at 9 a.m.

Meanwhile, Batangas City Police Station chief Lt. Col Julius C. Anonuevo said they arrested the top wanted person for rape at the city level identified as Tirso Pelesmina Iglesia alias Boy on P. Burgos St., Bgy. 17 Poblacion around 10:10 a.m. on the strength of a warrant of arrest.
