TWO suspected big time drug pushers were arrested in a buy bust operation that also resulted in the confiscation of P1.2 million worth of suspected shabu the other day in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
This was confirmed by Police Brig. Gen. Rene Pamuspusan, Director of Western Visayas Police.
Arrested were Clint Agsam alias Bukay, 37, and Paulo Bersuela alias Pawpaw, 27, both residents of Bacolod City.
According to Pamuspusan, elements of City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy bust operation against the suspects at around 11 a.m. along Barangay 6, Bacolod City.
It was learned that the operation was conducted when City Drug Enforcement Unit and Intelligence section of Bacolod City
Police received information regarding the illegal activities of the suspects in the province.
During the buy bust operation, policemen arrested the suspects and recovered a sling bag from them containing 29 sachets of suspected shabu weighing almost 100 grams with a market value of P 1.2 million.
The arrested suspects are now detained in Bacolod City Police cell.
Charges of violatin of section 5 and 11 of article II. Of Republic Act 9165 or Anti- Illegal Drugs Act were filed against them.
