2 victims of ‘salvage’ found in Laguna canal

TWO unidentified men believed to be victims of summary execution or salvage were found Thursday in a canal near a rice field in Pila,, Laguna.

The unidentified victims, believed between 30 and 35 years old were found by joggers along Pila Road in Bgy. Tubuan.

Pila police investigators said one of the victims were clad in maong pants and yellow shirt while the other one was wearing black pants, black jacket and white shoes.

One of the victims had tattoos on the feet and body.

Both victims suffered gunshot wounds in the head.

Police said fresh blood near the crime scene led the joggers to the bodies at 5 a.m.

Ang lugar na medyo malayo sa kabahayan ay doon na binaril ng hindi kilalang salarin,” said an investigator.

Meanwhile, a follow up investigation will be conducted by Pila police to determine the identity of the victims.
