20 drug offenders nabbed in Bulacan

AGENTS of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office on Monday and early yesterday morning arrested 20 suspected drug personalities in the province during a series of buy-bust operations, a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Joel Napoleon Coronel said.

The suspects, who were arrested in buy-bust operations in San Jose del Monte and Malolos cities and the municipalities of Bocaue, Baliwag, Guiguinto, Santa Maria and Norzagaray, are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Coronel identified those arrested as Catherine Fausto, 39; Albert Garcia, 37; Romeo Hugo, 27; Nikka Joi Teodoro, 21; Anna Lee Perez, 22; Reynante Cabrera, 40; Jaycee Tadeo, 35; Annalyn Hirota, 39; Darwin Sevilla, 29; Wilren Sabado, 31; Floid Macabenta, 37; Dewin Abila, 33; Raniel Dioquino, 27; James Bates, 30; Vergel Deguerio, 31; Robertito Conwi, 24; Raymart Ramirez, 27; Jerome Bernabe, 29; and Wilmer Baruelo, 32.  

The 20th suspect was a 15-year-old boy.

Bates turned out to be out on bail for a theft case while Dequerio was released from the Manila City Jail on September 2018 due to plea bargaining over a drug case.

Most of the suspects were included in the watchlist of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council.
