THREE known drug traffickers in Bulacan province were arrested by the local police in separate buy-bust operations last Sunday, a report to Police Regional Office 3 director, Brigadier General Joel Napoleon M. Coronel said yesterday.
The suspects were identified as Jomar Fajardo, 24; Emereson Reyes, 43; and Jose Rupa Jr., 24.
Fajardo and Reyes, both residents of Barangay Poblacion in Pulilan municipality, were arrested during an anti-narcotics operation conducted by operatives of the Pulilan Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
On the other hand, Rupa, a truck driver residing at no. 16 Pascual Street in Baesa, Quezon City, was arrested during a buy-bust operation in EMA Town Ville in Bgy. Camalig, Meycauayan City.
Recovered from the suspects were seven heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu and the marked money paid to them by undercover officers.
All included in the local police drug watch, the suspects will be facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, said the report to Coronel.
