THREE drug personalities were killed in separate operations in Laguna and Bulacan while 536 others including alleged 9 drug dependents and 527 violators of ordinances were arrested on the first day of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) that started on the midnight of January 15,2019 in Bulacan.
Bulacan Provincial Police director PSSupt. Chito Bersaluna identified the two fatalities in their areas as Gary Israel Dela Cruz and Gwynette Kylee N. Hong, both from Malolos City.
The two suspects fought back when they sensed that they are negotiating with policemen in a buy-bust operation in Club Royale Resort in Barangay Mabolo, Malolos , Bulacan.
Recovered from their possession were one caliber .38 pistol, three fired cartridge case , one piece of live ammunition, one caliber .22 with four live ammunition, one fired cartridge case, two fired bullets, seven pieces of empty shells for 9mm; nine heat. sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”; five heat sealed; one self sealed transparent plastic sachets, two round plastic container and one rolled paper of suspected dried “marijuana” leaves; one open transparent plastic sachet of suspected dried “marijuana” with fruiting tops; identification cards,buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia.
In Laguna, a suspected drug pusher identified as Limuel Inopre alias Tarzan was killed in a buy-bust operation in Biñan City.
The suspect was listed in the area’s drug watch list.
Also in Bulacan, 9 drug personalities were arrested in separate operations in Obando, Pulilan, San Jose Del Monte, Sta. Maria and Balagtas City.
The arrested wanted persons are now under the custody of the respective municipal police stations (MPS) for proper disposition.
Bersaluna also reported that in the implementation of PNP “Oplan Rody” or Rid the Streets of Drunkards and Youths, their forces arrested 527 persons including 134 minors from Balagtas, Bocaue, Bulakan, Calumpit, Guiguinto, Hagonoy, Malolos, Marilao, Meycauayan, Obando, Pandi, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bustos, Angat, Baliwag, DRT, Paombong, Santa Maria and Norzagaray.
Of the said number 461 were advised to go home while 66 were turned-over to barangay and were given stern warning.
