3 marijuana traffickers fall

CORDILLERA policemen on Monday night arrested three Antipolo City residents for trying to transport an estimated P3 million worth of dried marijuana leaves to Manila from Baguio City, officials said yesterday.

Cordillera Police Regional Office director, Brigadier General Ephraim Israel Dickson, said that the suspects identified as Joseph Brizuela,22; Samuel Baldovino,21; and Rhyjen Hernandez,24, were caught red-handed while in possession of some 18 kilograms of the cannabis.

All residents of Antipolo City, the three were arrested past 10 p.m. Monday shortly after they disembarked from a passenger bus in Baguio’s slaughterhouse compound.
