CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga -- A total of 30 persons involved in illegal drugs were arrested in different parts of Pampanga over the weekend.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, Pampanga acting police director Nicolas Salvador said the operations also resulted in the confiscation of several dozens of sachets of shabu.
In San Simon town, arrested were Angelo Dominic Supan, 34, Bernabe Maniago Simon, 27, Norman Manarang, 26, and Erwin Canlas, 35.
Some 21 sachets of shabu were confiscated by the police in the buy-bust operations.
In the towns of San Luis, Arayat, Guagua and Sasmuan, four drug personalities, identified as Anthony Calicdan, 43, Jun Mangahas, 34, Jhustine Montefalcon, 22, and Rosendo Lim, were arrested. A total of 16 sachets of shabu were seized from them.
In this city, police arrested Marvin Naguit, 36, Jefferson Roche, 18, Vincent Yandan, 21, Fernanda Litosquin, 34, and Rowel Santos, 49. They yielded a total of 13 plastic sachets of shabu.
Other buy-bust operations also resulted in the arrest of Jaime Manabat, 43, in Magalang, Rose David, 37, in Floridablanca, and John Paul Tolentino, 32, in Macabebe.
In Lubao town, one Jefrey Torres, 27, Ian Bartolo, 21, Noel Torno, 36, Manuel Culala Jr., 27, were arrested in buy-bust operations.
One Owen Quimzon, 27, and Bernie Tapnio, 38, were also arrested in Minalin and this city.
Through “Oplan Sita” in Sta. Ana, one Randy Perez, 25, was arrested after sachets of suspected shabu fell from his wallet when he was flagged down by policemen.
An anti-illegal drug operation in Northville Resettlement here led to the arrest of Mervin Puno, 25, Raffy dela Peña, 27, Marvin Reganit, 26, Marcos Mejares, 44, Manny Tuazon, 41, Roy Verzosa, 38, and Sunfer Dela Paz, 26.
The group was playing cara y cruz when arrested. Some 18 sachets of shabu were found on the floor where the suspects were gambling.
