4 drug suspects killed in NE stings

CABANATUAN City -- A passenger jeepney driver and three other suspected drug pushers were killed in Nueva Ecija police operations over the weekend.

The four suspects were neutralized in separate buy-busts by anti-narcotics operatives in Talavera, Laur and this city.

In Talavera, Lt. Col. Alexie Desamito, town police head said jeepney driver  Mhel Ador Dionisio, 46, of Bgy. San Pascual, shot it out with undercover operatives  during a buy-bust in Bgy. Sampaloc at 9:50 p.m.

In this city, Lt. Col. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief said Joy Lizarondo was killed when he suddenly pulled out a gun and shot one of his men in a drug-bust in Purok Rhodora, Bgy. Mayapyap Sur arund 9:50 p.m. Sunday.

In another gunbattle in this city, Gil Martinez, 40, of Milflores, Bgy. Mayapyap Norte, was killed in the buy-bust in Purok 7, Bgy. Bantug Norte at 1:50 a.m.

In Bgy. San Isidro, Laur, killed during the drug operation  was Ricardo Dorodoy, alias Gagay/Gagal, said Police Capt. Jonathan Romero, town police head.
