4 nabbed for drugs in Bulacan despite Ulysses

BULACAN policemen on Thursday arrested four known drug dealers in the province, two of them minors in separate anti-narcotics operations conducted amid powerful rains and strong winds unleashed by typhoon ‘Ulysses,’ Bulacan Police Provincial Office director, Colonel Lawrence B. Cajipe said.

Recovered from the suspects were six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, three plastic packets with dried marijuana leaves and the marked money they received from undercover officers.

Cajipe said the six were arrested in a string of buy-bust operations in Bgy. Inaon in Pulilan, Bgy. Maronquilio in San Rafael and in Bgy. Pag-asa in Obando municipality.

The arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, said the official.
