4 notorious pushers fall

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police arrested four notorious suspected drug peddlers in the City of San Fernando in this province the other day.

Brig. Gen. Joel Napoleon Coronel, Police Regional Office 3 director, identified the suspects as Acmali Francisco, of legal age; Mohammer Haji Ganda, of legal age; Jalal Mauyag, of legal age; and Michael Evance, of legal age.

Francisco, Ganda and Mauyag, all residents of Quezon City, are all high value targets in the police list of drug personalities while Evance is in the watchlist.

Confiscated from the suspects were one medium-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu which was the subject of a buy-bust; one medium-sized sachet of suspected shabu from Evance; eight pieces of large knot-tied transparent ice bags containing suspected shabu weighing about 810 grams from Francisco; the marked P1,000 bill and nine pieces of boodle P1,000 bills used as buy-bust money; one Armscor cal. .45 pistol with two magazines loaded with 15 live ammunition; one black Nissan Exalta and one orange Toyota Vios used by the suspects.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of Sec. 5 in relation to Sec. 26 and Sec. 11, Art. II of Republic Act 9165 and violation of R.A. 10591.

“Through our revitalized anti-illegal drug campaign and the community’s support, we continue to yield positive results on our anti-illegal drug efforts in Region 3. We keep on working double time to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region and we appeal to every one to continue helping us in our campaign against illegal drugs in order to make Central Luzon drug-free,” Napoleon said.

Meanwhile, in Angeles City, a rap artist and Youtube sensation was arrested for selling ecstasy and marijuana by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III in a drug sting in front of a bar in Friendship Hi-way, Bgy Cutcut.

In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, Director III Gil T. Pabilona identified the suspect as Arnly Dimabuyu also known as Xander Bay, male, 21, a rap artist and was also known as a Youtube sensation and blogger.

Pabilona said that Xander Bay sells party drugs to his followers.

Seized from Dimabuyu were one transparent plastic sachet containing 5 grams of marijuana and nine pieces of pink-colored Ecstasy with an estimated street value of P15,900 and the buy-bust money.

The suspect is now detained in PDEA Jail facility. Violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and section 11 (posession of dangerous drugs) of RA 9165 is being readied for filing in court.
