SAN JOSE CITY — Police anti-trafficking operatives and members of the city social welfare and business licensing offices raided a suspected prostitution joint masquerading as a videoke bar last weekend and arrested the alleged owner and a female cashier who allegedly received the payoff money in exchange for paid sex of one of four rescued girls allegedly employed as guest relations officers of said night club here.
Police head Lt. Col. Heryl Bruno identified the raided videoke bar as Dhebiz Point located along Maharlika Highway, Bgy. Abar 1st, which is owned by arrested suspect Cyrus Perez, 38, widower, of Cardenas St., Bgy. R. Eugenio.
Bruno said the raiding team arrested Perez and his cashier May Ann Inot, 20, a senior high school student, of Bgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City after receiving the P1,500 bar fine in exchange for taking out one of the girls supposedly for a round of sex.
Rescued during the same operation which was pulled off at 11:45 p.m. were four women with ages ranging from 25 to 37, who are under the employ of the suspect as club entertainers or GROs.
