CAMP Brig. Gen. Paciano Rizal, Santa Cruz, Laguna -- In just three days of anti-illegal drug operations in the province that left 17 drug personalities killed, Laguna cops again killed five more drug suspects last Tuesday.

The San Pablo City police said they engaged alias ‘Brix’, a known drug pusher in Bgy. San Antonio, where he met a poseur-buyer along the Maharlika Highway for a drug deal at 11 p.m.

‘Brix’, who is the courier of a known drug suspect now detained at Bicutan City Jail but still continues with his operations thru cellphone, yielded a revolver and a shabu worth P75,000 after he was shot dead during an exchange of gun fires.

In Calamba City, drug suspects Oscar Suazo, Ade Abellada and Arjay Galvan, all of Lakebreeze 2, Bgy. Uwisan, were selling two sachets of shabu at 1:30 a.m. when they fought the arresting policemen setting for their arrest.

Galvan and Abellada died from bullet wounds while Suazo gave up. Recovered from them were a sachet of shabu and two revolvers.

Three more drug suspects, Dennis Guilas, Ramonchito Fajardo and Jayson Garcia, were also transacting with undercover agents at 3:30 p.m. in Bgy. Bucal, Calamba City, when Guilas pulled out his hand gun and fired at the police poseur-buyer, whom he identified as police asset.

The suspect died during the operation while his two companions escaped. Recovered from the slain suspect were a cal. .9mm pistol and a large plastic sachet containing shabu.

Another drug suspect, Ronald Bestre, alias ‘Tim’,  and cohort Tito Vitas, who belong to the “Fajardo Criminal Group”, according to police, clashed with cops at 7:30 p.m. During the buy-bust operation, Bestre was seen brandishing his Uzi automatic pistol. But before he could fire it, he was shot dead. Recovered from him were the Uzi and a large plastic of shabu.
