CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas -- Six suspected drug peddlers were nabbed by city authorities during buy-bust operations in Bgys. Sico and Antipolo Del Norte, Lipa City, Provincial police PIO chief Senior Insp. Hazel P. Luma-ang said on Thursday.
A report to Batangas police director Senior Supt. Edwin Aguilan Quilates by Lipa City Police Station commander Supt. Geovanny Emerick A. Sibalo said the six illegal drug peddlers were identified as Paulo Bautista Navarro, Emmanuel Hernandez Medina, Shiela Antipolo Laraquel, Rolly Catapia Magsino, Leonard Mendoza Magsino and Randy Saligumba Morales.
Quilates said that at around 6:40 p.m. in Purok 2, Bautista, Medina and Laraquel were arrested during a drug buy-bust operation. Seized from them were six heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu, a marked P1,000 bill in buy-bust money, an improvised tooter pipe and three cellphones.
Further, a cal. .22 revolver loaded with six live bullets in its cylinder and four shells for a 12-gauge shotgun were found inside a gray Mazda 3 sedan driven by Medina, the local director said.
Rolly and Leonard Magsino, along with Morales, were also apprehended by the city police at 10:40 p.m. in Purok 1, wherein three plastic sachets of suspected shabu and a marked P500 bill were recovered.
The six suspects are newly-identified drug personalities of this police station, Quilates said.
