SIX drug personalities were nabbed possession of four grams of suspected shabu by operatives of Drug Enforcement Team (DET) during anti-illegal drug operation in Sitio Almazora, Bgy. Canlalay, Biñan City, Laguna, on Tuesday.
Calabarzon police director Chief Supt. Edward Carranza identified the suspects as Grace Lingcopines, 45, Vangeline Perez, 30, Christian Enri-quez, 30, Ruel Salera, 36, Alexis Reyes, 24, and Charlie Guetierez, 36.
The Drug Enforcement Team, in coordination with PDEA 4A, under the supervision of Supt. Danilo Mendoza, OIC Biñ chief of police, conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Sitio Almazora, Bgy. Canlalay, where the suspects was arrested.
During the operation, a police poseur-buyer was able to buy a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu from Grace Lingcopines in exchange for P500 bill in marked money while the other suspects were caught while sniffing shabu.
Recovered from the suspects were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, two unsealed transparent plastic sachets, two folded aluminum foils, two rolled aluminum foils, two disposable lighters, a coin purse, P1,100 in different denominations suspected as drug proceeds and the buy-bust P500 bill.
The suspected shabu weighing about four grams and worth about P6,000 amd the suspects were brought to Biñan City Police Station before submitting it to PNP Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) 4A at Camp Vicente Lim, Bgy. Mayapa, Calamba City, Laguna for lalaboratory tests.
Criminal complaints for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 12 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) are now being prepared for inquest before the Prosecutor’s Office.
