CABANATUAN CITY — Nine suspected illegal drug traffickers, including the number two in the top ten priority target list, were nabbed during stepped-up anti-illegal drug operations launched in Nueva Ecija yesterday and Monday.
Of the nine arrested suspects, provincial police director Col. Marvin Joe C. Saro said five were apprehended in Gapan City, three in Cabanatuan City and one in Guimba.
Gapan City police head Lt. Col. Edilmar Alviar identified the arrested number two-ranked “high-value-target” as Jon-jon Pangilinan, 44, of Bgy. San Nicolas, Gapan City.
Pangilinan was nabbed in his supposed drug lair at 7:10 p.m. by operatives of the provincial Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, provincial intelligence unit, and the city special drug enforcement team led respectively by IA5 Christopher Macairap, Lt. Col. Heryl Bruno and Lt. Adonis Tagud.
The others who fell in successive drug busts in Gapan City were identified as Oliver Simbillo, 34, of San Miguel, Bulacan; Jaypee Gutierrez, 33, of Bgy. Bantog, San Miguel, Bulacan; Julius Chris Inductivo, 30, of Bgy. Bulualto; and Allan Santiago, 40, of Bgy. Bantog, also of San Miguel, Bulacan.
In this city, police head Lt. Col. Barnard Danie Dasugo identified the three arrested suspects as Louie Arimbuyutan, 23, helper; Arvin Jay Antonio, 26, laborer, both of Purok 4, Bantug Norte; and Richard Bautista, 35, of Purok 3, Bgy. Valle Cruz.
In Guimba, nabbed was Merwin Manuel, 24, laborer, of Bgy. Cavite.Publication Source : People's Tonight
