Actress Keanna Reeves nabbed for cyber libel

ELEMENTS of Laguna Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)  yesterday arrested actress Keanna Reeves for cyber liber for allegedly bullying a businesswoman in Laguna. 

Reeves, Janet Derecho Duterte in real life, was arrested by members of the CIDG Laguna and Calamba City Police Station at around 12:45 p.m. at 81 Timog Avenue corner Scout Ybarrdolaza, Quezon City. 

The sexy actress was arrested based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Florencia B. Formes-Baculo of Calamba City RTC Branch 34, for violation of Section 4 of RA 10175 or Cyber Libel law. 

From Quezon City, Reeves was brought to CIDG-Laguna for proper documentation and processing. 

The court asked P20,000 bail from Reeves for her temporary liberty. 

It can be recalled that Reeves was charged with cyber-libel by a businesswoman she allegedly bullied in social media. 

According to the complainant, Nancy Dimaranan,  the sexy comedian performed thrice in a food park she owned, the last of whic occurred last July 14, 2018. 

Dimaranan said the actress was paid P5,000 as talent fee and was given additional P1,500 when Reeves asked for it. 

Dimaranan claimed that Reeves also asked her to take her back to Quezon City or Alabang after the show but she refused because she was too tired. 

On the next day, Dimaranan said he saw video allegedly posted by Reeves in social media, attacking her personality, calling her “Demonyong bakla”.
