NOVELETA, Cavite -- A drug suspect was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physician at Cavite Medical Center in Cavite City at 3 a.m. on Dec. 12, 2018 after a brief chase with local police Drug Enforcement Team.
Senior Insp. Rosalino Panlaqui, local police chief, identified the slain suspect as Allan Rey dela Cruz Isidro, alias “Tisoy”, 42, married, electrician, of Bgy. Bagbag 2, Rosario town.
Local DET members led by PO3 Cesar Datu shot and killed Tisoy after selling two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu worth P300 to a police poseur buyer.
The suspect sensed that he was dealing with a police poseur-buyer, pulled out a short firearm and fired at the police officer, prompting other policemen to return fire, killing the suspect.
A Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) team from PNP Provincial Crime Laboratory in Cuartel, Imus City led by Chief Insp. Oliver Dechitan recovered from the suspect eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, two spent shells for cal. 9mm, cal. .38 revolver loaded with five live ammo, a fired cartridge case and a fired bullet and seven pieces of P100 bills, including the P300 buy-bust money.
The recovered pieces of evidence were placed under the custody of the Cavite Crime Laboratory for examination.
