THE Regional Trial Court Branch 90 in Dasmarinas, Cavite has issued a warrant of arrest against HH Development Cooperative’s purchasing agent Evangeline Natividad for estafa.
Executive Judge Perla Cabrera-Faller directed the National Bureau of Investigation, CIDG and the PNP station commander in Olongapo City to implement the arrest warrant againt Natividad, who is allegedly hiding in Singapore.
The case stemmed from the failure of Natividad to properly liquidate the amount of P307,211.25 which she received to purchase office supplies and equipment between January and August 2014.
During the investigation, it was found out that she stashed the money for her personal use. Natividad ignored repeated demands from HH to return or pay back the money and was thus charged with qualified theft.
Before the promulgation of the Court’s decision on March 14, 2016, Natividad escaped. Her last known address was Block 10-B Lot 18, Guava St., Gordon Heights, Olongapo City.
On June 25, 2016, the court issued a Hold Departure Order against Natividad.
Anyone who has knowledge of Natividad’s whereabouts may report it to HH Cooperative at (045) 402-0761 or to the nearest local police station or the Philippine Embassy, if abroad.
