POLICE early morning Tuesday raided a house in Guindulman, Bohol where they seized several unlicensed handguns and dozens of live ammunition, a Police Regional Office 7 report said.
The operation in Sitio Cambanog in Barangay Canhaway in Guindulman municipality led in the arrest of the house owner identified as 63-year old Jose Felicia, said PRO7 director, Brigadier General Debold M. Sinas.
According to the official, members of the Guindulman Municipal Police Station, the Bohol Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, the local Maritime Group and the Bohol Police Provincial Office searched the residence of Felicia on the strength of a search warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulations Act of 2013 issued by Judge Rufo Naragas of the Loay, Bohol Regional Trial Court Branch 50.
Sinas said recovered during the search were four caliber .38 revolvers, one cal. .45 pistol, one .45 magazine with six live ammunition, 42 pieces of spare .45 bullets, 15 .38 live ammunition and a cal. 9mm bullet.
