FORTY-FIVE passengers were hospitalized after their bus hit an electric post in Atok, Benguet late afternoon Wednesday, the Cordillera Police Regional Office said yesterday.

An initial investigation showed that Regan Ginoban, the driver of the Rising Sun Bus with plate no. WZO-568, lost control of the vehicle while negotiating the highway in Kilometer 24, Caliking, Atok municipality at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

As a result, the bus rammed an electric post resulting in injuries to the 45 who were all rushed to the Benguet General Hospital for treatment.
