PHILIPPINE National Police chief Director General Oscar Albayalde yesterday witnessed the turnover of millions of pesos worth of brand-new police patrol cars, motorcycles, guns and investigative equipment procured by the Cavite local government for use of the Cavite Police Provincial Office.

Joined by PNP Director for Logistics Director Jose Maria Victor DF Ramos and Police Regional Office 4-A director Chief Supt. Edward Carranza, the PNP chief helicoptered to the Cavite police headquarters in Imus, Cavite for the turnover of the logistical equipment that will further boost the local police’s crackdown on illegal drugs and criminals.

“The new equipment for the Cavite PPO were, in part, from the latest procurement by the provincial governments of Cavite and Laguna and the Congressional district representatives of Cavite,” Albayalde said.

“We welcome this latest addition of mission-essential equipment to boost the PNP’s capability to move, shoot, communicate and investigate,” the PNP’s top cop added as he ordered the Cavite police force headed by Sr. Supt. William Segun to take good care of the donated equipment and treat them as if they were their own personal property.
