CIDG agents arrest 3 wanted persons

THREE wanted persons were hauled to jail by agents of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in a string of manhunt operations in the countryside last Saturday, PNP-CIDG director, Major General Joel Napoleon M. Coronel said.

One of the three identified as Melvin Borabon, tagged as the leader of a gang engaged in robbery-holdup, gun-for-hire and gunrunning activities in Metro Manila and Calabarzon region was arrested in an operation in Barangay Osorio in Trece Martirez City in Cavite at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The suspect was arrested on the strength of a warrant of arrest for robbery with physical injury issued by Judge Gina Escoto of the Morong, Rizal Regional Trial Court Branch 76.

The 2nd identified as Rolando Tapdasan, a man wanted for estafa and listed as th 9th most wanted man in Sulup, Davao del Sur was arrested in Sitio Pag-asa in Bgy. Tinalon, Senator Aquino, Sultan Kudarat on the basis of a warrant issued by Judge Marigic Daray of the Digos City RTC Branch 18.

The 3rd, Roberto Tingson III alias ‘Robert Sanchez,’ listed as the 6th most wanted person in Pangasinan was arrested  in El Grande Avenue, BF Homes, Parañaque City by CIDG operatives armed with a warrant of arrest for rape issued against he suspect by Judge Marlon Meneses of the Alaminos City RTC Branch 55.
