Cocaine tracking devices found in Bicol

CAMP SIMEON OLA, Legazpi City -- Albay police provincial office director Police Col. Wilson Asueta has ordered Rapu-Rapu, Albay town police commander  P/Captain Dante Buenafe to create a special police team to investigate the reported recovery this week of a cocaine tracking device in the waters off Rapu -Rapu.

Police said the tracking device is described as round in shape with “BMR-800-D” markings worth at least P 47, 000 per unit.

There were also reports that a similar tracking device was found  off Gubat, Sorsogon, where 40 blocks of cocaine in black garbage bags weighing about 39-kilos and valued at P 218. 400 million werefound by three local fishermen.
