CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Operatives under the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Region 3 (CIDG-3) confiscated three handguns and several rounds of ammunition in separate operations the other day.
Col. Christopher Abrahano, CIDG-3 officer, said the operations also resulted in the arrest of three suspects who are facing charges for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition and two other suspects facing different charges.
In San Miguel, Bulacan one Noel Tecson was arrested after the court-issued search warrant implemented by CIDG operatives resulted in the seizure of one cal. .22 Magnum sub-machinegun with a magazine and four live ammunition.
CIDG-Bulacan described the suspect as a member of Michael Delos Reyes Group involved in gun-for-hire activities in the province.
In Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, one Romeo Talplacido was arrested after serving a search warrant against him. Found from his residence were one cal. .38 revolver with four pieces live ammunition.
CIDG-Nueva Ecija said that the suspect is a member of the Salvatiera Group involved in gun-for-hire and gunrunning activities.
In Masinloc, Zambales CIDG operatives arrested one Arnel Gabriel, who was subject of a court-issued search warrant.
The suspect is allegedly a member of the Aspanol Group involved in gun-for-hire, gunrunning and illegal drugs trade, according to the CIDG-Zambales.
Operatives seized a cal. .38 revolver with six live ammunition, 10 pieces of cal. .45 ammunition, and four heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu.
In Abucay, Bataan, one Lazarino Galicia was arrested by virtue of a warrant for two counts of rape with no bail recommended.
Operatives also arrested in the same town one Lenie Crisostomo via a court-issued warrant for falsification of public documents. She is top 9 in the list of Abucay police’s wanted list and suspected to be the leader of a “budol-budol” gang operating in Bataan under the CIDG-Bataan list.
