Coronel is new Police Regional Office 3 chief; Corpus moves to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group

CAMP Olivas, Pampanga -- Former no. 2 National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) officer and Manila Police District director Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel assumed post as the new director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) during a simple ceremony here yesterday.

Outgoing PRO3 director Chief Supt. Will Corpus move to the helm of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) to replace Director Roel Obusan, who is set to retire.

In his message to the PRO3 officers, Coronel thank the Philippine National Police leadership for entrusting to him the PRO3.

“I would like to express my profound gratitude to our Chief PNP, Dir. Gen. Oscar Albayalde for the trust and confidence he has given me and with my gratitude. I offer him my pledge that I shall do my utmost best to perform my duties, of course with the cooperation of every one, and I urged everyone to extend to me the same support you have extended to Chief Supt. Corpus so that together we will continue to keep PRO3 safe and peaceful at all times,” he said.

A command conference with the PRO3 Command Group and different police city and provincial directors followed at the PANA Hall.
