Day care centers soon to rise in 17 PNP regional offices

A PHILIPPINE National Police Child Development Center or pre-school daycare centers may soon sprout in all 17 police regional offices to help cater to the needs of children of police uniformed and non-uniformed personnel, the Journal Group learned yesterday.

The idea is a “brainchild” of the PNP Officers’ Ladies Club headed by Mrs. Cherrylyn Albayalde, the wife of PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, in partnership with the PNP Directorate for Personnel and Community Relations.

Yesterday, Mrs. Albayalde and other PNP-OLC officers graced the “Titser Ko, Pulis Ko” conference at Camp Crame.  The activity includes a seminar on child development, which will come very handy for concerned police officers and men in the event that the daycare centers in their respective camps are fully activated.
