Dead ‘COVID-19 carrier’ found on Batangas road

POLICE on Friday reported that an unidentified female cadaver was found by a local resident along the road in Bgy. Talisay, Calaca, Batangas.

Calaca town police investigators said the cadaver wears a gray T-shirt and black shorts, 5'2" in height, medium built, and with shoulder-length hair.

A telephone call was received by Calaca town police personnel from a concerned citizen informing a cadaver found in this barangay on July 10 at 12:30 p.m.

According to the village residents, they always have seen the victim roaming around in the community for several years and believed she had no permanent residence.

Initial findings said the victim believed died of natural cause no physical injury or wound.

The cadaver was suspected infected with  killer COVID-19 virus was taken by Anters funeral service and upon the recommendation of the Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), was immediately entombed at the Calaca town public cemetery on the same date.
