SCIENCE CITY OF MUŇOZ – Joint operatives of the local police here and the San Juan City police nabbed a suspected carnapper during manhunt operations in San Juan City on Tuesday.
City police head Lt. Col. Jaime B. Quiocho Jr. identified the arrested suspect as Tony Casillan, 46, single, of Bgy. Tobiasville, Bgy. Bantug, this city.
Quiocho said the suspect was nabbed following the implementation of Oplan Manhunt Charlie at his hideout on G. Araneta Avenue, Bgy. Rivera, San Juan City at 10:30 a.m.
Quiocho added his men coordinated with the San Juan City police led by Col. Jaime O. Santos and collared the suspect on the strength of an alias warrant of arrest for carnapping docketed under Criminal Case No. SD-15-3287 issued on June 7, 2016.
Staff Sgt. Noel M. Vera, case prober, said the arrested suspect is now locked up in jail at the city police station here for proper disposition.
