Ex-OFW, 3 others nabbed for drugs in Lucena stings

LUCENA CITY— Police arrested a former female overseas Filipino worker who is among the newly identified drug personalities in the city police watchlist and three others following the seizure of illegal drugs in two anti-drug busts at Tayabas City and this city on Saturday.

Quezon police director, Col. Audie Madrideo identified the nabbed suspects as Rhysan Malubay, 39, and resident of Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City; Janil Aguilar, 40, Jared Daputo, 27, and Adrian Zamora, 26, all residents of Bgy. Cotta, here.

Madrideo said Malubay was arrested by elements of Provincial Intelligence Branch and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, both under Major Gaylor Pagala, right after handing a plastic sachet containing shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for a marked P500 bill at Bgy. Isabang, Tayabas City.

When frisked, he said the suspect yielded three more sachets containing 15.2 grams of shabu with a street value of
P84,360.00.

Madrideo said the trio yielded 6 plastic sachets containing 15 grams of shabu with a street value of P83,250.00 and a marked P500 bill.
