SAN ANTONIO, Nueva Ecija -- A 27-year-old farmer-trader was nabbed after a search operation on his house yielded an unlicensed firearm and bullets while three suspected drug pushers were arrested in another buybust operation conducted on Friday.
In Bgy. San Mariano, town police head, Chief Insp. Arnel Aguilar identified the arrested farmer-trader as Honey Sebastian.
He yielded a cal.45 pistol with magazine containing 13 live bullets, and two cal.38 bullets after warrant operatives swooped down on his house at 6:50 a.m.armed with a search warrant issued by regional trial court judge Celso O. Baguio of RTC Gapan City for violation of RA 10591.
Meanwhile, in Bgy. Poblacion, anti-illegal drug operatives arrested Michael Gonzales, 28, of Bgy. Papaya; Michael Pili, 27, of Bgy. San Mariano; and Justin Parungao, 21, of Bgy. Julo during a buy-bust operation conducted at 9 a.m.
Aguilar said that they were collared after selling a plastic sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer and another four plastic sachets containing same illegal drugs worth P2,000 were seized from their actual possession.
