CAVITE 6th District Rep. Luis ‘Jon Jon’ Ferrer IV filed House Bill 7070 seeking to establish a Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Office in General Trias City in order to serve the residents efficiently and help decongest the work load of district offices in the province.
The current LTO Driver’s Licensing Renewal Office (DLRO) at Robinson’s Place GenTri in Bgy. Tejero does not provide other services such as vehicle registration, new driver’s license application, among others.
Ferrer said the establishment of an LTO District Office in General Trias will not only facilitate the registration and licensing applications but will also save efforts and expenses of applicants even from by towns and cities like Tanza, Rosario, Trece Martires City, Noveleta.
Ferrer also authored House Bills 5657, 5658, 5660, 5662, 5663, 5665 and 5667, seeking to create three additional branches of the Metropolitan Trial Courts (MTC) in Paranque City, four Regional Trias Courts (RTC) and two MTCs in Ormoc City, Leyte; one RTC and one MTC in Novaliches, Quezon City; three additional RTCs in the 4th Judicial Region in General Trias City; 3 RTCs in Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte, two RTCs and two MTCs in Mati, Davao Oriental and two MTC in Bacolod City, respectively.
He has authored a total of 20 measures including HB 00394, an act dividing and creating new barangays in General Trias.
Based on the proposed Law, three General Trias barangays will subdivided into seven new villages.
