Former gun-for-hire gunned down in Batangas

POLICE reported Thursday a gun-for-hire member on board a black Yamaha motorcycle was randomly shot dead by unidentified van-riding suspects along the highway in Bgy. Sabang, Tuy, Batangas.

Tuy Municipal Police Station chief Major Allan C. Nidua identified the victim who suffered bullet wounds in the body as Juan Eslobo y Adona.

Eslobo, based on police investigations was on his may  home at around 12:35 p.m., he reaching the was shot several times by the unidentified suspects on board a blue Innova van and quckly sped off.

The victim was immediately brought by the responding policemen at the Western Medical Center in Balayan town but was declared dead by the attending physician.

Police recovered a wallet containing one  P500 bill and two small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu from the suspect’s possession.

Nidua said the victim was known as one of a hitmen of former Bantugon Crime Group and involved in illegal drug activities in tuy municipality.
